Collection: Inmarsat Satcom

Inmarsat satellite communication keeps ships connected beyond VHF and MF/HF range. Inmarsat-C is the messaging service used for GMDSS distress alerting, Maritime Safety Information, the Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) and LRIT position reporting on SOLAS ships. Inmarsat FleetBroadband adds voice and IP data for crew and operations.

We supply the Furuno FELCOM-18 Inmarsat-C terminal, also as FELCOM-18/SSAS, and the Furuno FELCOM-251 (FleetBroadband 250, 284 kbps) and FELCOM-501 (FleetBroadband 500, 432 kbps) terminals for bulkhead or panel mounting.
