Battery replacement kit for the Novega PT9 NINETY underwater locator beacon (ULB). A battery replacement gives the beacon a new shelf life of 3 years.
PT9 beacons work only with Novega batteries – other batteries are not recognised and leave the beacon non-functional. The replacement must be done by a trained technician with the Novega tools (pressure dispense clamp, 3 Nm torque wrench, DC meter) and the Novega battery replacement instructions. If no trained technician is available, replace the complete beacon instead.
