Collection: Gyro Compass

A gyro compass provides true heading independent of the Earth's magnetic field and feeds radar, ECDIS, autopilot and AIS on the bridge. We supply the Anschütz Standard 22 NX gyro compass, the established choice for SOLAS ships, and the Simrad GC80 compact gyro compass for workboats, fishing vessels and yachts.

Regular service keeps a gyro compass within IMO accuracy. We stock the Anschütz Standard 22 service pack and upper hemisphere, plus belts, brush assemblies, fixing jigs and PCB assemblies for Simrad GC80 and GC85 systems.
