Collection: Autopilot

A marine autopilot holds the vessel on a set heading or track, which reduces workload on long passages and improves fuel efficiency. We supply heading control systems for commercial ships, such as the Anschütz Pilotstar NX, and autopilots for workboats, fishing vessels and yachts, including the Furuno NAVPILOT-711C and NAVPILOT-1000, Simrad autopilot computers and Sandemarine autopilot systems.

An autopilot needs an accurate heading source and a rudder feedback unit, and on larger vessels it is usually part of an integrated bridge with gyro compass and ECDIS.
