SIMRAD PROFESSIONAL CONSOLE (SPC)

The Simrad Professional Console is a flexible, one-design mounting system 
for bridge equipment including ARGUS radar, MARIS ECDIS900, and E5000 ECDIS solutions.
The pedestal’s flattop allows bracket mounting of 16:9 monitors and flat panel computers up to 27 inches in size, and supports flush-mount installation of a variety of keyboards and controllers. A customizable internal mounting system enables the console’s pedestal to house a variety of equipment including processors, power supplies, and networking hardware. An easily accessible CD/DVD drive mounting location is also provided for use with ECDIS solutions.
The console’s consistent yet extensible design makes it suitable for a range of applications: from a standalone radar or ECDIS pedestal for use in retrofits, to inclusion within a workboat bridge concept design, to part of a fully integrated navigation system aboard larger commercial vessels.
The Simrad Professional Console is compliant with the IACS Unified Interpretation (UI) for application of SOLAS V/15 Rule Standard for Bridge Design, Equipment Arrangement, and Procedures (BDEAP).
